On Monday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to say that the Biden administration would deport violent illegal immigrants who have been convicted of DUI’s and drug-related crimes.
The Washington Post alluded to this in a story on Sunday, saying:
“Agents will no longer seek to deport immigrants for crimes such as driving under the influence and assault, and will focus instead on national security threats, recent border crossers, and people completing prison and jail terms for aggravated felony convictions”
Now, Psaki is confirming it.
Watch below:
In an interview with “Fox & Friends” earlier Monday, Fredrick County, Md., Sheriff Chuck Jenkins said that Biden’s orders neutering the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency means “Americans will not be safe” and “immigrant communities will not be safe.”
“These types of laws lead to more victims of crime, more violent crime [and] gangs infiltrating this country,” he added.

Noting that Americans ought to be “outraged” by Biden’s order, Jenkins was also reacting to comments from an unknown administration official who told the Washington Post for a story published Sunday that the White House has “abolished ICE without abolishing ICE.”
“The pendulum swing is so extreme,” the official continued. “It literally feels like we’ve gone from the ability to fully enforce our immigration laws to now being told to enforce nothing.”
The Post reported:
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing to issue new guidelines to agents this week that could sharply curb arrests and deportations, as the Biden administration attempts to assert more control over an agency afforded wide latitude under President Donald Trump, according to internal memos and emails obtained by The Washington Post.
While ICE’s new operational plans are not yet final, interim instructions sent to senior officials point to a major shift in enforcement. Agents will no longer seek to deport immigrants for crimes such as driving under the influence and assault, and will focus instead on national security threats, recent border crossers, and people completing prison and jail terms for aggravated felony convictions.
“Generally, these convictions would not include drug based crimes (less serious offenses), simple assault, DUI, money laundering, property crimes, fraud, tax crimes, solicitation, or charges without convictions,” acting Director Tae Johnson told senior officials in a Thursday email.
“U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services recently rescinded two 2018 policy memos related to the issuance of Notices to Appear when processing requests for immigration benefits,” USCIS spokesman Matthew Bourke said on Sunday. “The agency was directed to rescind the relevant policy in a [Department of Homeland Security] memo issued Jan. 20,” the day Biden was inaugurated and began signing a pre-conceived, prepared stack of executive orders — like a dictator (remember when they all called Trump a dictator?).
Sheriff Jenkins summed up what all of this will mean: “There will be no enforcement” of immigration laws, essentially.
“One thing that’s always considered in the deportations are the criminal histories so regardless of the felony, regardless of the event, the crime these people are going to roam our streets with impunity,” Jenkins warned. “It’s absolutely ridiculous.”
Roam our streets, sure, and then commit the kind of crimes that won’t get them deported or, we assume, even arrested.
If it’s chaos Democrats, a.k.a., the Marxist Party, wants, it’s chaos they’re going to get.
