BREAKING: Suez Canal Finally Reopens

 The cargo ship Ever Given, which had been stuck in the Suez Canal for nearly a week, was successfully refloated.

According to CNBC, the ship was refloated and is on its way to Great Bitter Lake, according to Leth Agencies, the Suez Canal’s transit agent.

Since the Ever Given was grounded last week, more than 450 ships have been prevented from crossing the crucial global waterway, according to Bloomberg News, delaying hundreds of millions of dollars from hitting the global economy.

Aside from affecting the global economy, the ship’s grounding had a detrimental effect on the US military by stopping ships from moving.
