The January 6th Committee is a kangaroo court.
After Steve Bannon’s surrender to The F.B.I for being in ‘contempt’ of a fake partisan court, Bannon is now fighting back in a way aimed at revealing these sham proceedings.
Steve Bannon has filed a motion to make all documents relating to his contempt case public knowledge—after all, knowledge is power.
This and the testimony of Bernie Kerik could both prove to be somewhat of a Trojan Horse for the Democrats on the committee.
Here’s more on the contentious case:
Grand jury indicts Steve Bannon for Contempt of Congress. He's facing 2 misdemeanor charges. One for failing to appear. The other for failing to provide documents. He's facing a minimum of 1 month in jail and a maximum of 1 year for each plus fines.https://t.co/4N8OefrhNa 02

According to Just The News:
“In the opposition filed today, Mr. Bannon asked the judge to follow the normal process and allow unfettered access to and use of the documents,” said a statement given to the Washington Post on behalf of Bannon. “Members of the public should make their own independent judgment as to whether the U.S. Department of Justice is committed to a just result based upon all the facts.”
“Steve Bannon wants contempt case documents to be publicly released”
“The Government offered no reason why it wanted to limit Mr. Bannon’s attorneys in their use of the documents to prepare a defense.” —Bannon’s defense team (to The Washington Post)https://t.co/rIjWQTLQgd

The point of indicting Steve Bannon is NOT to get him to cooperate. It's to scare other, more indictment-averse witnesses into cooperating. The committee does not need everyone to cooperate. It just needs a handful of key people, and it'll get every January 6th detail it needs.
