Wait a minute… I thought we were told by the mainstream media that were was no such thing as widespread voter fraud?
If that’s the case, then why was a major arrest made in Arizona?
The Associated Press reports that an Arizonan woman was arrested for 2020 ballot harvesting.
But here’s the thing:
This wasn’t an ordinary woman.
This was the former mayor of the town who engaged in illegal ballot harvesting in the 2020 election.
And it wasn’t just a few ballots here and there.
This was described as a “sophisticated” ballot harvesting scheme.
Her court date has yet to be announced.
Why isn’t the rest of the mainstream media picking up on this?
There’s only two possible reasons.
The first is that they would have to admit that they were wrong.
The second is that they were complicit in the “big lie” about the 2020 election.
More details about this developing story below:
This major development comes just days after the documentary 2000 Mules was released to the public.
For over the last year, investigators in states such as Arizona, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania have been working diligently to uncover voter fraud.
While the media as a whole likes to claim that there was no such thing, then why are arrests currently being made?
The Associated Press confirms:
An Arizona woman indicted in 2020 on accusations of illegally collecting ballots apparently ran a sophisticated operation using her status as a well-known Democratic operative in the border city of San Luis to persuade voters to let her gather and in some cases fill out their ballots, according to records obtained by The Associated Press.
Guillermina Fuentes, 66, and a second woman were indicted in December 2020 on one count of ballot abuse, a practice commonly known as “ballot harvesting” that was made illegal under a 2016 state law. Additional charges of conspiracy, forgery and an additional ballot abuse charge were added last October.
Fuentes, a former San Luis mayor who serves as an elected board member of the Gadsden Elementary School District in San Luis, has a Thursday court date where she may change her not guilty plea. Her co-defendant awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to a reduced charge several months ago.
Fuentes is accused of collecting ballots during the 2020 primary election in violation of the law that only allows a caregiver or family member to return someone else’s early ballot, and in some cases filling them out.
Her attorney, Ann Chapman, has not responded to repeated inquiries seeking comment, including on Wednesday.
Republicans have rallied around the possibility of widespread voting fraud in the 2020 election where former President Donald Trump was defeated. They’ve pointed to the charges against Fuentes as part of a broader pattern in battleground states.
There is no sign of that in the investigation records, though. They were obtained through a public records request from the Arizona attorney general’s office that was first made in February 2021, but was denied. The AP sent a new request last October after more charges were filed against Fuentes. The attorney general finally provided more than 20 documents laying out the investigation late last week.
The next time a liberal friend tells you that there was no fraud in the 2020 election, then ask them about Fuentes.
Also, did you catch that Fuentes was a former MAYOR of the town?!
In other words, a public servant is alleged to be part of a sophisticated ballot harvesting scam.
If a mayor is involved, doesn’t that also suggest that other “leaders” could be involved as well?
We are officially halfway through 2022.
The election was over a year and a half ago…
So why are arrests just being made now.
I don’t know about you, but this is the first time I’m hearing about Fuentes.
How many other harvesters are being investigated that we haven’t heard about?
Why weren’t these arrests made sooner?
The Epoch Times has more details:
An Arizona woman has pleaded guilty to using her position in the Democratic Party to illegally harvest ballots in a ballot abuse scheme.
Guillermina Fuentes, the 66-year-old former mayor of San Luis, Arizona, pleaded guilty on June 2 to one count of ballot abuse for her role in an August 2020 primary election ballot harvesting scheme, according to the Arizona Attorney General’s office. Arizona attorney general’s office investigators said the operation was “sophisticated,” reported The Associated Press.
The scheme involved early ballots from other voters that were collected and deposited into a ballot box on primary election day, the office said.
Fuentes’s plea came as a result of an ongoing election fraud investigation conducted by the Arizona Attorney General office’s Election Integrity Unit. She was indicted in December 2020.
Fuentes, of Yuma County, is the owner of a local construction business, former mayor of San Luis, Arizona, and a Democratic precinct committee person.
She admitted to “knowingly” collecting early ballots from four persons who is not her family member, household member, or caretaker, or on or about Aug. 4, 2020, the day of the primary election, according to her plea agreement.
Fuentes further admitted that the early ballots were later provided to Alma Juarez, who pleaded guilty in January to one count of ballot abuse, a misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of six months with probation available, according to Juarez’s plea agreement.
The former mayor will be sentenced on June 30.
Probably not.
They don’t want to admit what happened in the 2020 presidential election.
